ALUR (Alternative Lifestyles United - Retreats)

The ALUR Social

A place for those involved in alternative lifestyles. ALUR has formed in an effort to provide a safe place for those involved in alternative lifestyles to meet and socialize. ALUR belongs to the community and will be run by those that attend the meetings. Come and join us, give us YOUR ideas on what you want, how you want it and what you would like to see happen in your community. The idea is to UNITE, so unite with your fellow kinksters and most of all HAVE FUN!

Socials will be held on the third Saturday of each month from 4-6 p.m. So come join the fun and meet some very interesting people!

Attending this social is very easy. All you have to do is show up and follow three simple rules.
1) You must be 21 years old to attend. (Rules of the establishment)
2) You may wear any fetish wear you want so long as it is street legal.
3) Respect other peoples boundaries.

ALUR Munch

Rockin' Robins, Promenade Mall, Lewiston

Rockin' Robin's is located in the Promenade Mall, where Flag Ship Cinema's are. Located on Route 196 (turn into the parking lot by Tim Hortin's) just about 1-2 miles from the turnpike from exit 13 off 495.

Our munch location is bright, clean, and there is plenty of free parking. Look for the ALUR sign. The door to Rockin' Robins is just to the right of the cinema as you face the building.

BDSM UNH invites all University of New Hampshire students who have an interest or are involved
in BDSM to join our new online support and social group! BDSM UNH exists for the discussion and
promotion of BDSM lifestyle and practice. We are not supported by the University, but we are comprised
of UNH students.

The group Discusses BDSM issues, techniques, and lifestyle. We provide an opportunity for UNH students
who enjoy BDSM to share feelings, thoughts, ideas, and schemes with an open- and like-minded group of
their peers.

Boston Dungeon Society

BDS is the largest bulletin board in northern New England. It has a terrific variety of events, most of which are open to the general public. This is not a complete event list. There is a complete list, including their members-only events, on the BDS website. For information on location etc., contact BDS through their Website or by calling 617-783-1386.

BDS classes, workshops and demos are open to the public, unless otherwise noted. Cost $10 members and associated groups (NELA, BFP, TNG); $15 non-members.

Directions:

The Summerfield Suites in Waltham can be reached by T from the Riverside stop on the green line and then taking a cab. I'm told from someone who has done this that it is about a $20 cab ride, so car-pooling is highly recommended. Parking is free at the hotel.

To get there by car, you may want to refer to the hotel web site's directions: http://www.wyndham.com/Summerfield/Waltham/. From 93N, take 128 South to Waltham. Take the Totten Pond Road exit (Exit 27A). At the bottom of the ramp, take a right onto Winter Street. You will cross back over the highway you just got off.On the other side, take a quick right onto 3rd Ave. Turn left onto 4th Ave. Follow 4th Ave. up a hill... the sign and entrance for Summerfield Suites is on the left.

From the Pike, take 128 North to Waltham. Take the Totten Pond Road exit (Exit 27A). Dress for class or Munch: Casual dress is requested. No fetish dress please.

Dress for Classes - Unless otherwise requested, dress is casual - collars are allowed.

All Events Held: The last Sunday of the Month EXCEPT in November, December, and occasionally January, when we usually meet a week early so as not to interfere with long Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Holiday weekends.

Times:

Classes: 4pm - 5:45pm
Munch: 6pm - approximately 8:15 - 8:30pm

Place: Holiday Inn By the Bay, Spring Street (Across from the Cumberland county Civic Center), Portland, Maine - we meet in the YORK Room, Second floor.

Directions: I-95, Exit 6a. I-295 to Exit 7, (Franklin Street). Stay on Franklin Street for five (5) lights. Take a right onto Middle Street, travel approximately 1 mile (Middle Street turns into Spring Street.) Holiday Inn is on the left.

Tips for New or Nervous People:

All CUFSmaine events are casual....you can participate a little or as much as you like.

CUFSmaine events are SOCIAL in nature.....there is never any play, so you don't have to worry about being asked to do something that might make you uncomfortable.

All CUFSmaine events are SAFE AREAS. If at any time you feel uncomfortable, or if you feel somebody is being too familiar with you, just let Ren or LesVoiles know, and they will speak to that person. We also encourage the use of a safeword if you feel the need.

You are not expected to 'be in role' for CUFSmaine events......subs do not defer to Dominants and Dominants do not give orders to submissives. We are all INDIVIDUALS who share an interest in BDSM/Alternative Sexuality, gathering to share conversation, education, and support.

At the Munch and Sub Circle, we will ask you to introduce yourself with a first name (only) or a scene name, and we will ask you to tell us your role (Dom, sub, Switch, Not sure...) - other than that, you are welcome to hop right into the discussions, or sit quietly and observe - whichever makes you more comfortable.

Our members are very welcoming to newbies - after all, we were once newbies ourselves! :)

Kinky Times at Play

7pm - Midnight

Kinky Times at Play is for novice and serious players alike who wish to spend time with the community and/or playing. We enjoy providing a fun atmosphere for playtime, so don't be shy, come out and play! There are several wonderful Dominants available who are more than happy to share their techniques and advice if you are looking to learn a new skill while hanging out with friends. The bar will be open for your enjoyment. We also have a DJ to spin music for you to dance to, and to play by. There are currently 5 separate and distinct play stations ... including spanking benches, pillars, areas for vertical bondage and a wax station (bring your own candles) with 5 more stations due to be completed shortly. There is no dress code, although fetish wear is welcome. This is a relaxed group that has a great time together.

Play rules are simple:

No Full Frontal Nudity
No Penetration vaginally, anally or orally
No Body Fluids (i.e., no showers, blood, etc.)
No Masturbation
Clean up after yourself
Consideration of others is expected

The cover to attend the play time event for members is $10 for females, $15 for males or $20 per couple. If you are a Kinky Times member, you may bring a guest, but the cover charge for guests is $25 per person. Again, the doors open at 9:00PM for playtime.

This is not open to the general public.

We meet at a club in Providence with ample free parking in a safe, well lit downtown location. Every competitor there will be representing one of the 113 alternative lifestyle group or organization residing in the states of CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI & VT.

As they all hope for the chance to win an NEFG gold, silver or bronze medal, or striving be a part of that one team that will earn and bring home The Fetish Cup Trophy ... will your group be well represented?

The bragging rights are up for grabs, but the only way your group can earn that privilege is to start organizing your team now and be ready for The Games.

Each of the 24 events does have limits to the number of individual and team competitors, so it truly is a first-come, first-served basis.

Are you an exhibitionist? Would you like to be immortalized in a calendar?

The year is going by quickly, and I am in need of more models, for a new calendar in the makings, the second annual fetish calendar.

I would love to have a good cross section this time, with Dom/mes, subs, male/female. The one comment I heard about my first calendar, was the omission of male subs. I also would love to have some Dommes too ... last time I had female subs, and one brave Dom, oh, and one lovely piercing with nipple rings :)

I would like to begin a tradition here, of yearly fetish calendars for you all to hang on your walls, and remind you of wiitwd all year long, lest we forget? *chuckle*

In all seriousness now, I would love to have as many people in this calendar as possible, diversity is my goal, body modification, leather, gay/lesbian, Dom/sub, crossdressing, transgender, any thing that represents the life we have chosen... I can protect your faces if that is a consideration, there are many ways to take a photo... a body shot, just a small area showcasing some piercings and such, or tattoos, leather clothing... pvc, anything...

Inside, outside, posed for ... scenes ... or any other idea anyone has. I'm open to all ideas. I am not a rich and famous photographer... (yet) :) <-- laughing at myself, so I cant pay huge sums of money for this 'privilege' of posing and being in this wonderful calendar ... which will be sold at the November fetish Spree, and if I can manage it, at the Boston Flea in January. I will, however, work out some form of remuneration for your modeling for me. Also, i will be having a ballot at the fleas, for everyone to vote for their favorite person, and the winner will be nominated calendar model of the year... and get a small prize for it. Also, the person voting can leave their name and a contact address and i will be having a drawing for a doorprise, but you have to vote... you need not be present to win, hence the contact information.

Please email me ..... I am hoping for a really wonderful, erotic, exciting calendar this year, but I cant do it without someone to pose for me...

Please be from the New England area only and willing to travel to Maine for the session.
