A very well stocked lingerie store that also has a selection of latex and leather clothing and toys. Their toy section has lately expanded and includes a number of quality items from Stormy Leather. They carry a number of plus sizes.

This store is a wonderful place to find fetish clothing. The selection is centered on biker gear, but has more than enough variety to provide a number of attractive options for the discriminating kinkster. We liked the leather halter tops, thigh-high boots (with or without studs), etc. Of course, they have the usual vests, chaps, caps and jackets. The clerk confided in us that they even have whips (nothing useable, but we appreciate the thought). The staff we met were all vanilla, but the clothes speak for themselves :)

The "Video Expo" -- 666 Congress St. Portland, Maine

Video Expo is one of our partners in the CUFSmaine card program, offering a 10% discount to CUFSmaine card holders! They have a very good selection of videos (mostly vanilla), and a small toy area. Their toys are good quality, made specifically for them. They will be expanding their toy area, perhaps even as you read this. They would love to know what types of toys you would like them to carry. The "Amazing Adult Store" -- Rte. 1 South, just past the "Cabaret" adult theater in Peabody, MA. (978) 535-7999

This store is recently expanded from a "Video Expo" location, a number of which are in New England, including one in Portland. The store was a very pleasant surprise, roomy and bright. We were greeted with a smile by a knowledgeable employee who is in the BDSM scene. She not only gave us a tour, but used her knowledge of the scene to recommend appropriate products for all levels of experience.

The video selection was the best I have seen, and the magazine section was excellent. There were also party games, lingerie, lubes ,condoms, costumes, cards, t-shirts and a good selection of high quality toys. The toy selection ranged from Velcro cuffs for the newbie set to armbinders and restraint harnesses for the more advanced. Even we found something to take home.

We felt that much of the success of the store, from the selection decisions to the friendly atmosphere was due to the extraordinarily good staff (ask for Carmen), but we have been told that other "Video Expo" locations may similarly expand, and if they are as well done, then we can't wait!

It has been around for a long time, so some CUFS members may know it, but I think for someone just coming out it is a very pleasing experience. It is a little bit pricey, but the service is great and the lingerie selection is very fetish oriented... its where I got my maid's outfit...on sale! Also they will do makeovers, but you have to book in advance.....and its best to book in person."

Florence's offers an excellent selection of plus sizes.

Owner Kim Airs has created a relaxed and friendly place. While the products are geared mostly towards women, all are welcome and all will find something of interest. Her literature section is the best in the area! She carries only a few BDSM toys, but she has a fantastic selection of books, lubes, dildos, vibrators, harnesses, anal toys, condoms, massage oils, and gifts. Fetish, goth and punk clothing, some bondage equipment, some magazines and books. The store is not large, and is well packed. The fashions are trendy and hot. In fact, it's better for clothing than for toys, but the basic toys are just fine.
